The Holy Cow Performing Arts Group is an Edinburgh based amateur ensemble of artists performing dance, music, and theatre works inspired from the Indian Subcontinent. Through our performances we endeavor to explore the diversity and vibrancy of the Indian culture and heritage and present a fresh and distinct look of India. Our Mission: •The Holy Cow Performing Arts Group shall be the ambassadors of the vibrancy and diversity of Indian culture to Indian and Western audiences. • We intend to bring together peoples across social, economic, religious and/or regional borders and give them a voice through meaningful art and high standards artistic productions. • We shall endeavor to provide an opportunity for artists to showcase their aesthetic interests and talents and perform art for more than art’s sake.
Our Aims : • Educate and increase awareness of the Global and Indian Communities about Indian Culture and Heritage through performing art relevant to the Indian subcontinent. • To present a platform for individuals of Indian origin and otherwise to learn, indulge and participate in Indian performing art and issues relevant to India. • To promote Indian performing art from the subcontinent and educate the community at large.
